Hey Chick,

thought that I would pass along some tips on customizing for you and anyone here that may have missed them.

I have found that if you use Super Glue under the roof, it contains the vapors and causes the windows to cloud up. I thought that I could avoid this problem by gluing upside down and it still did it. For that reason I started using JB Weld to hold things together. Also If you buy the TMNT trucks and take them apart, the top of the body, or the top of the turtles head, can be easily used to hold your trucks together. Just grind it down some so that it has a flat surface and JB Weld it to the underside of the roof. For that matter just about any center from any truck can be used the same way.

An yea, that El Camino body makes a sweet Shell-Camino!

I appreciate the tips, and I'm taking note of 'em for future projects. In this case however, the body is plastic so I'm not sure JB Weld would work.

Yeah I know, I've been really busy this summer. Just got back from my second vacation this summer so I haven't had a whole lot of spare time on my hands. I do however have some customs waiting in the wings.

Hmm...Transformers RPMs as monster trucks. Not a bad idea. Try using the HW Monster Truck Maker to start. Optimus Prime is gonna be a challenge though.

(Just to let you know, there was a monster truck Transformer in the 2nd movie. His name was Wheelie and he was an RC MT.)

I have the El Camino (I might use it for Aces High) and the Ford Panel Truck (would make a good Retro Digger).

Made back in 2001-02, allowed you to snap on HW cars to the truck chassis/wheels. I used to have one of them before i sold it.
